An unusual case of Yersinia pseudotuberculosis-induced diarrhea in Mangalore, south India

This is my first publication of my research career in 1994 during my Master’s degree studies at the Kasturba Medical College Mangaluru (India).

Infection due to Yersinia pseudotuberculosis is rare though it is a worldwide zoonosis. As of early 90s, more cases were reported from Europe than from other countries with majority being among children between 5–15 years old.
